Day 349 Photog Relics

Thursday, December 15 – You never know what you might find at the sand dunes of Death Valley. Looks to me like a photographer has been here, doesn’t it? Sure enough, there she even is up on top of that dune getting that ‘perfect’ shot. I even got to include the moon in the shot. We did star trails later that night and had to beat Mr. Moon coming up to avoid too much light.

If it had been a bit darker to make the moon show better that second one could have been a fantastic, rather than just great!, shot…maybe you could darken it in Lightroom? And crop it using the full original resolution to make the moon as big as possible. Perhaps give it some evening/sunset coloring?

    Pretty nice, all in all!

I like the color variation in the sand and the sky. Pretty cool shots – you even got what looks like footprints in the second one.
