Monday, December 12 – Here are those first shots I mention of the lunar eclipse. They are not good, as the wind was howling and I needed to get my lens figured out. But it shows how we were dealing with a full moon.

It seems counter intuitive but you really need to expose the moom as a sunny day! Still, they look pretty good.

The bottom one shows the eclipse just starting. It captures just a finger of the darkness starting. Totally cool!
It was a pretty cool moon we watched come up on the train last evening.
