Day 253 The Year Of The Sunflower

Saturday, September 10 – This is certainly the year of the wild sunflower. They are growing in abundance along our lane. I am off to the Farmer’s Market this morning to pick up my vegie share. It is very brisk out this morning; just 43 degrees. I would not be surprised to hear that it froze in low lying areas.

    Cool sunflowers photos.
How was the market today?? I am staying away from there this morning. Don’t want to pick anything up in my run down state.
Spending a quiet day at home with Curtis gone.

I went to the Farmer’s Market to pick up my share today too. I just zipped in and out and headed to the Teacher’s store. Then hit Walmart and home.

I love the “old and new” shots. What fun! Gorgeous sunflowers and you captured each one so well.

I really, really like the shot of the shut flower in front and the open flower in back.
