Day 157 Herding Sheep

Monday, June 6 – We so lucked out one day to get to see a sheep herder move his flock to a new pasture and he was more than pleased to let us snap away. You might notice that they were running some goats along with the ewes. They raise alot of sheep in this area. The cattle I saw were some Chianina bulls in a lot. That breed originates in Italy and is white with a black nose.

The country side is beautiful, isn’t it?

I love his sheep herding clothes. It isn’t what I imagined a sheep herder would wear. I guess I’m invisioning biblical times in my head.
