Day 155 Scooters Everywhere
Saturday, June 4 – Everywhere you go in Italy, you see scooters. It seems to be the “in” mode of transportation. Considering that the price of gasoline there is around $7 a gallon, I can see why these fuel efficient little guys are so popular. They line the streets everywhere, as this example shows. You have to be very careful walking, as they weave in and out of the people. Here was a fellow on his way to work, I would presume.Â
I’m sure we would have one of these if we lived overseas.
Curtis had his motorcycle when we lived in Germany.
The perfect way to go in and around everything. Fun shots!
Trieste in NE Italy has the highest ration of people to scooters/motorcycles!
