Window on Cherry Pie Lane

Day 25 Moo!!

Tuesday, January 25 – We drove through the desert on our way back from hiking Boynton Canyon yesterday and low and behold, what did we see right along the edge of the road? A black-white faced cow grazing on a nice patch of green grass under a bush. Green grass looks to be hard to come by out there in the desert. I don’t know where her buddies were, as we only saw her. She looked to be close to calving  and in pretty good shape. We had seen a herd of Herefords a couple of days ago that were just skin and bone. Pretty poor pickings where they were, I guess. This was a very quick shot out the pickup window as we sped by.

Pretty good shot for out the window while speeding by. This old girl looks like she’s happy! I love that there is always SUNSHINE in AZ. I miss the sunshine!

Agree with Debbie, but MT’s skies are much bluer! (if that’s a word) In other words we have very blue skies. This weekend has been very nice in the mid to upper 40’s.
