Day 263 Happy Belated Birthday, Mom
Monday, September 20 – Last Thursday was Mom’s 83rd birthday. We had a lovely day, out at the ranch, with her and Dad. Then on Friday, we celebrated with breakfast at Perkins. I feel so very fortunate to have such a wonderful Mom in my life. In celebration of her big day, I borrowed some freshly cut Chinese Lanterns from Billi that she had just purchased at the Farmer’s Market. These are a favorite of mine and hold lots of childhood memories. We used to go to a lady’s house in Belt and pick bouquets when I was little. Thanks for the loan of the flowers, Billi. Happy Birthday again to MOM!!

Love the black background. It sure makes the color in the flowers pop. Happy 83rd birthday to your mom – well a belated wish. She’s a wonderful mom to you and I know how you treasure her.
