Day 177 Tulips Anyone?
Saturday, June26 – It has been raining all week and I had a photo assignment that called for shooting either rain shots or inside shots with nice diffused natural light from the cloudy sky. There were some really nice tulips at Albertson’s that were just begging to come home with me. So here are some shots that I did using a soft gold reflector and my tripod. The first three shots were with my 100mm macro and the 40D. The last one is with my 5DM2 and Lensbaby Composer, 10x and 4x macro filters and soft focus optic. I used a tripod and a soft gold reflector; just the light from my round north facing window.
I really like the second shot – the one with the yellow tulip in the background and the red in the forground (did I spell that correctly?). It just drew my eye the first time I saw it. Did you use any of these shots for your class?
Tulips are my favourite!
