Day 357 Foggy Sunset
Wednesday, December 23 – We are having the most horrid weather and something we just don’t see here in Montana much; ice. There has been thick fog since Sunday and freezing rain has covered everything with ice. I have not been out the door today, as there is no way I could get down the hill to the barn. Walter fell this noon going out our front door. The rocks and dirt and wood are all coated with ice making it just plain dangerous to be out. I shot these just a few minutes ago with my G11 of the sunset. It was the brightest it has been out all day. I had to stand in the front door to get the shot. Poor Shep came charging out and fell all the way to the bottom of the stairs.

Love this trio of shots. The colors are so pretty and the fog is in different places in each photo. It’s been foggy here too and we’ve had pouring rain all day. It’s so muddy and mucky that we almost get stuck in the driveway. More wet weather headed your way. Hopefully it doesn’t fall as freezing rain.

Love the foggy sunset. But I am not loving the foggy weather and ice. It was so slick out yesterday am. Hope we don’t get too much snow on top of it all.

Oh my gosh I love these pictures. Absolutely beautiful.
I remember the day we went to the cameron place and got those trees and planted them!!!!! They were only about 3 – 4 ft tall then. I remember having “BIG” plans to climb and build a tree house in them. I think they are finally getting closer to the right size, but my desire isn’t nearly as strong.
