Day 228 A Wonderful Surprise
Sunday, August 16 – I just had to share some photos of these beautiful Lilies that arrived this week from a dear friend who knew I was having a tough day. She knew exactly what would brighten up my mood. I couldn’t wait to get the camera out and do some macros.I will share some more shots tomorrow.  We went to a family dinner tonight. It was supposed to be a barbecue, but we ended up inside due to rain. I am beginning to wonder if we are ever going to get the last of the harvest in. The pastures and hay fields are sure looking good. I think we might have as much 2nd cutting alfalfa as we had first cutting. That is really unusual. I guess there is some positive about all this rain we are seeing. We had 3/4 inch yesterday. I spent a few hours scrapbooking today at Cheryl’s and will go back again tomorrow to get a little more done.

These are gorgeous photos, Robyn. How nice to have such a special treat delivered when you were having a bad day.
Thankfully there is an up side to all this rain. More hay is wonderful news and something to be thankful for.
