Day 208 Griz Country
Monday, July 27 – Here are the two photos that I entered for my PhotoWalk. They represented what Missoula meant to me. Having had children that attended school there, I know that bikes are the main means of transportation. The Griz statue was in a park right where we walked and where the block party was. He looks pretty big from my low perspective in this photo. I am including a couple more shots that I considered. That silhouetted building is the same one that is with the Griz statue. The other shot is just of the statue with some pretty sky.  I am off to a family reunion today after looking after Billi’s cat this morning. I am so thankful that she has been doing fine all weekend. The bull at the barn got out this morning, so I have already been on my horse. Great morning to be doing that, though, as it is cooler out.
I really like the colors on the bike shot…fair material!
The bottom Griz is prettyt neat, too, but I am a cloud kind ‘o guy!

The bright highlights on the body of the griz along with the dark front really set off this photo! You should think about resizing for wallpaper and sending it to UM. I think it would be REALLY popular! Set it up for a buck a download and you could easily get a new lens out of it!!!
