Window on Cherry Pie Lane

We have had quite the week with pet accidents. Little Duke likes to eat socks and rocks. He didn’t feel so good Tuesday morning, so paid a visit to the veterinarian and had X-rays. She found 7 rocks in his tummy that needed to come out. What she found when she did the surgery was even more surprising. Not only did he have 7 rocks, some the size of his vertebrae; but he also had eaten 3 socks that were totally blocking his intestine. If he had waited a day to go to the vet, he would have likely died from a ruptured intestine. So he is now home and doing well. Emma has been taking puppy classes with him and won the award last week for the best performance. I guess she has taught him to ride a skateboard, in addition to other things. No skateboarding for awhile for this pup.
