Window on Cherry Pie Lane

Here is one of the dunes that I photographed. This one required a 2 1/2 hr. hike up and down dunes. No easy task while carrying a tripod and two cameras. But it was worth every step. This was actually the first dune we shot that day and one of the smallest. I shot this one in black and white. Be sure to click on it to see the marvelous jump pattern of the sand. That is something new that I learned; the patterns are formed by the distance the sand moves and are called jumped patterns.
