Window on Cherry Pie Lane

Our first stop in Death Valley was at the Mesquite Dunes. As you can see, we were not alone. This is the lower dune field where there are less people and a whole lot less in the way of foot prints. Photographers hope for overnight winds to erase evidence of the previous day’s treks.  No such luck for us though.
