The sunrise over the Highwoods was neat this morning. So peaceful!

Here is the sunset tonight to the south. I am staying at the ranch enjoying some peaceful time. I plan to do some Lensbaby shooting tomorrow before the weather changes. Damaging winds and huge hail are forecast. Not what we want to hear. The guys put their hail insurance on today.

They sure look like snakes! My granddaughter is learning to stay clear of rattlesnakes and identifies every weed with a snake shape as a snake. She would definitely call these tree roots at Memorial Falls, “Snakes”.

We went for an early morning drive to Neihart with a Photography friend for breakfast and some shooting at Memorial Falls and the Neihart Cemetery. This might be one of the locations for a camera club outings.

This was the first of 4 branding days. Seems we are battling storms to get this done and the cows out to pasture.we got an inch of rain yesterday.

This little miss sure enjoyed going to the branding yesterday. She loves cows. I mean she LOVES moo-moos. She got a brand new baby moo-moo, as you can see.
