Day 277 Happy Birthday!

It is a very special day today for our family. Our little Warrior Princess is turning a year old. Thanks to her mom for furnishing this awesome shot of the little wild one. She has been walking for quite sometime and climbs very well too. What a precious little granddaughter she is.

Day 276 Norris Basin

We stopped at Norris Basin while visiting Yellowstone. Quite the hike, but well worth it. This is the area that the young man was in hiking and fell in a hot pool and died last summer.

The Bison were sure enjoying their abundant grass.

Day 274 Yellowstone Biking

Two of the girls decided to do the Yellowstone Bike ride from West Yellowstone to Old Faithful and back – 68 miles in 5 hours. The first two photos are at Old Faithful. We didn’t get a photo of the start, as there were so many riders. But we did get the finish, as you can see them riding through the entrance. And the last one is when they were all done. Then it was off to do some power shopping.  We went through the park the next day, which was a first for one of them. What a great weekend!

Here is a shot at the pullout for Memorial Falls, outside Neihart. It was a beautiful morning as we headed to Townsend to pick up the grandkids.

Day 271 Box Girl

What is it about a cardboard box and little kids! This box certainly works well as a hat.

Day 270 Pure Relaxation

Jade and Walter like to take an afternoon nap.  Poor kitty hurt her back recently and needs to rest, via doc’s orders, which she is taking very seriously.

Day 269 A Beautiful Sunset

Here is one of those photos that show why you always look behind you when taking a sunset. This was actually facing east and look at that color!
