It isn’t often that you see a single cloud over Belt Butte. This was the early morning view out my bedroom window. Not much for a Thanksgiving sunrise, but it was an interesting sight.
The sun sure makes it beautiful out right now with the newly fallen snow. It is cold, but the sun sure feels good. Need to do a bit of white balance adjustment, but you get the idea of how sparkly it is.
Well, not really his cat, but mine. But he still loves Jade dearly and you can see it is very mutual.
I am not a loving of cold weather or snow. I think it is because I have had to work out in the weather so much. If I had just been able to recreate in it, I might have enjoyed it more.
I was running late getting home yesterday and Mr. Sun had already gone down. This is an iPhone shot from my vehicle going down our lane. Wish I could have gotten home a little earlier to catch more of the beautiful colors filling the sky. This was right at the tail end of the color show.
The center of an orchid is very interesting. Doesn’t this look like a little fellow with his arms stretched wide?
Here are some aloe plants that I shot on Sunday. Sure lots of green, texture and line to capture. Winter Weather Warning is out for the next day or two. Not looking forward to snow and cold.
Here is an orchid that I shot on Sunday. I am not sure I liked how green it turned out, so I took the saturation down post processing. What do you think? Funny thing is, when I have traveled in Ecuador and Costa Rica, there are lots of very green orchids. So this is a normal color for an orchid. I think this looks rather like a little angel with wings.
