Day 356 A Bit Closer
This was not a good year for Bear Grass in Glacier. We were lucky to actually find some.

I attended two workshop at the Glacier Institute this year and have signed up for another one already next summer. They are very reasonable and well worth the time. I took this image of Bear Grass a short distance from Logan Pass. I believe it was Lunch Creek.
This Rufous-collared Sparrow can hide very well in the bushes. Nature certainly helped out with that.
This certainly reminds me of an umbrella from this view. But it’s a very big one, if it were.
Here is a balloon launch image from this fall in Albuquerque. What a wonderful experience this was.
My granddaughters got a new Golden Retriever pup today. His name is Duke and he is a sweetie. He came from a litter of 11, if you can image. They are very lucky to get a pup with this breeding. My veterinarian raises Goldens and is well known for the quality of her pups. We made contact last week and they went today and brought one home. Lucky girls! Shep is doing very well. He came home from the hospital on Christmas Eve and is a true Christmas miracle, as he is eating and acts great. He has been diagnosed with lymphoma though, which is not a good thing.
Everyone morning the Inca Jays were out catching the moths that were around the lights before the sun came up. This guy got one!
Going back a few months to my time in Ecuador. Right now I would love to be back there enjoying the sights and the warmer weather with no snow.
