Here is the beautiful Crucifix that is above the alter in the Catholic Chapel. They actually have 4 chapels; Protestant, Catholic, Jewish and Buddist.
Leslee and I were getting ready to venture out of our hotel room, when suddenly she shouted, “Come look at what is just outside of our window”. Sure enough, there was a balloon. Grabbed my handy iPhone and got a couple of shots. I didn’t notice at the time that there was a black bird flying right above. We found out later that this was a ‘rouge’ balloon not associated with the fiesta and it took off from another site.. Ken was up in the air at this time on his balloon ride.
Here is an image of Tiff and her boys that Becca shot yesterday. Beautiful family, aren’t they?
My trip to the Air Force Academy Chapel certainly was a treat that I had not expected. Ken surprised me with a much needed side trip. What a gorgeous piece of architecture!
This is what two five year olds look like when they have had enough of posing for photos. Body language sure says it all.
Becca, my photographer granddaughter, has spent the last two days doing a shoot of the twins to get an image for the family Christmas Card. I think she did pretty well. This photo will work well to put a message in the middle.
Waiting at a rest stop, I noticed this little guy just hanging out from the mirror and thought it was a rather interesting perspective.
