Day 306 Park Fun
We went to Gibson Park today for some fun while Tiff got her hair fixed. I think it was fun.

There are a few leaves still hanging on down at the barn. The winds were are experiencing today will probably get rid of most of them. Taken with the little Olympus mirrorless.
Here is a shot on the way to Upper Highwood Creek. The foliage colors are winding down and it feels like winter might be raising it’s cold head. iPhone photo.
One of the truly awesome things about being on the field where the balloons were being launched was the fact that you can be right there with the pilots and balloons and see it all happening. As the balloons went up, I was right beneath them. Here are a couple of the shots from the field as the began to rise.
Autumn has really arrived in force and we are rapidly losing the beautiful fall colored leaves. Mr. Sun sure helped put a golden glow on everything in the early morning light.
This very interesting balloon was anybody’s guess as to what it was when it was laying on the ground uninflected. Once the process commenced it was obvious it was a stork holding a baby. I found out that the owner of the balloon is an OB-Gyn MD. Very appropriate! One of the biggest balloons on the field too.
The last couple of days have been blessed with gorgeous sunrises and sunsets. Here is the one from yesterday. This is looking east out my bedroom window toward the Highwoods and Belt Butte.
