Day 174 One Big Fish
Walter spent a couple of weeks in northern Canada fishing with his buddies. Here is a pic of him with one of the fish he caught. Glad to see that he even remembered to wear a hat.

Here are Mom and Dad at Family Night last night. The staff does such a great talent  decorating and everyone enjoys that so much. What a wonderful relief to know that the folks are safe and being well cared for.
It was family night at Highgate last night and barbecue was the theme. Yummy hamburgers, baked beans, potato salad and watermelon was served. Mom and Dad really enjoyed it and Dad cleaned up his plate. Such a wonderful idea to have these monthly gatherings.
My cactus can’t remember if it is supposed to bloom at Christmas or Easter, so it is blooming now.
Mom really enjoys Beef Stroganoff. I am not sure that it is as good as Mom made when it is served at Highgate. She did a pretty good job of cleaning up her plate regardless.
The boys love playing at the park and what could be better than to be joined by their cousin, Brynn. She happened to be there for her school’s end of the year party. What a fun time they had!  They had a treat afterwards with Great Grandma Bonnie  at the Dairy Queen. Thanks to Tiffany for the photos.
When I shop at the Mall of American, this is how I go. My sis and I discovered years ago that it is much better to take a wheeled suitcase to put packages in than to have to lug them around on your arm. The feet get pretty tired visiting the over 500 stores at MOA. You see lots of people with suitcases that are waiting for a flight out of Minneapolis and have taken the train over from the airport. So I fit right in.
Dad has a collection of old farm machinery, mainly John Deere. These beauties sit in front of the house to welcome visitors. As you can see, the hay is growing by leaps and bounds.
