Day 284 Arusha
Thursday, October 11 – This is the view from the roof of the hotel we are staying it. What a beautiful place Arusha is. Â The Jacaranda trees are lovely in their purple flowers.

Wednesday, October 10 – Our long 30 hour trip to Africa wore Kimmie out as you can see. The food on the big planes was so good and kept arriving on a frequent basis. We even had ice cream, smoothies and pizza for just a snack.
Tuesday, October 9 – We left bright and early this morning for Seattle. The 5 hour layover was spent in the Delta Lounge enjoying snacks and free internet. Then off we went to Amsterdam and finally to Tanzania. The adventure begins.
Monday, October 8 – It is hard to believe that I will be leaving for Tanzania in just a few days. Where did the time go? Luckily, I finally found an antibiotic for malaria prevention that I can tolerate. Malarone didn’t like me at all. I am busy starting to pack today. Have clothes to spray with Permethrin. One last set of rodeo photos from the State Fair. I am looking forward to shooting some rodeo again next season.
