Day 236 GRRRR

Thursday, August 23 – Doesn’t this junker look like it is growling? A group of my photog friends and I visited an abandoned car junk yard recently. What a great place to shoot. We lucked out that it had rained just a bit the night before so that the fire danger was down in the high grass. We did have a lightning caused fire the night before that was quickly extinguished at 2 am. There was another one close to this place from the same storm which burned 400 acres.

Day 235 Another One Got ‘Er Done

Wednesday, August 22 – The bull doggers did catch a few of their steers, but it was tough. I think I would veer off the other direction too if I saw one of those brawny buys coming at me.

Day 234 Another One Bites The Dust

Tuesdzy, August 21 – The bulls definitely won at the Montana State rodeo. Not one cowboy could stay on for the required time.

Day 233 Got ‘Er Done

Monday, August 20 – As the cowboys say, “Get ‘Er Done” and this bull dogger did just that.

Day 232 My First 4-H Demo

Sunday, August 19 – This was my granddaughter’s first year in 4-H and her first demonstration. How I remember those scary days when I was that age. Getting up in front of an audience is tough. She did great at the fair this year and got blues on everything that she entered. Way to go, Marilynn.

Day 231 Riding Off Into The Sunset

Saturday, August 18 – Cowgirls come in all sizes and so do their horses.

Day 230 This Place Was Made For Little Boys

Friday, August 17 – My daughter and I spent some time yesterday down at our steam museum letting the boys have some getting rid of energy time. It is place that little boys love. I think you can guess that from the expressions here.

Day 229 What Do You Mean, I Can’t Turn The Water On?

Thursday, August 16 –  My grandson was bound and determined to turn on the water at the steam museum. His mom had other ideas about that. As you can see he was not happy.

Day 228 Flying With Grandpa

Wednesday, August 15 – My twin grandson’s love spending time with their Grandpa. As you can see, both love his airplane. iPhone photos courtesy of Tiffany.

Day 227 Rodeo Kids

Tuesday, August 14 – What fun watching kiddos watching a rodeo. It was clown time at the Stanford rodeo and also, Tristan and Lily’s very first rodeo. She kept singing, in her little helium voice, “We’re going to a rodeo”.
