Day 356 A Beautiful Ending

Thursday, December 22 – As beautiful as our sunrises have been, the sunsets have been pretty darned dramatic too. I am sitting here catching up on my blogging. My internet won’t connect to the desktop, so I am having to use the Apple to post. Not a bad thing at all. I think it is time to replace that old PC and get a new iMac. There is a woodpecker working on the cedar siding right outside my office. What a noise. Need to try to get a shot of him/her.

Day 354 Happy 10th Birthday, Brynn

Tuesday, December 20 – Brynn’s birthday was Sunday and what a fabulous day it was. It is so hard to believe that she is already 10! Wow!!  A new Kindle Fire, cool slippers and a stereo for your ipod touch were pretty neat presents.

Day 353 Looking Through Old To New

Monday, December 19  – Another shot from outside St. George. There is an abandoned silver mining mine/town that has an upscale development built right around the old building. Very cool place.

Day 352 Forgotten and Remembered

Sunday, December 18 – A shot from an old cemetery outside St. George, Utah.

Day 351 Good Job, Becca

Saturday, December 17 – Becca had her piano Christmas recital recently and did a fantastic job playing a duet with her teacher. She is growing not only into a gorgeous young lady, but is so talented in both her photography and her music. You can tell how happy she was with the results of her performance. Not the best place to shoot though. It was in a home and packed wall to wall with people and had really bad lighting. But you get the idea.

Day 350 Look Who Is Behind the Camera

Friday, December 16th – Emma loves to use my G11 and takes some pretty darned good shots too.

Day 349 Photog Relics

Thursday, December 15 – You never know what you might find at the sand dunes of Death Valley. Looks to me like a photographer has been here, doesn’t it? Sure enough, there she even is up on top of that dune getting that ‘perfect’ shot. I even got to include the moon in the shot. We did star trails later that night and had to beat Mr. Moon coming up to avoid too much light.

Day 348 Cute As A Bug or Fairy

Wednesday, December 14 – Here is a shot of that cute little granddaughter of mine, Lily. Becca took this and was willing to share it here. Thanks Becca. You sure captured your cousin being  a fairy . Or at least I think that is what she was. Regardless she is “cute as a bug”.

Day 347 Not Much Color

Tuesday, December 13 – We tried several times to get a decent sunset or sunrise in Zion, with not much luck. Kimmie and I decided to try again our last night there. This is all we got. I guess we are spoiled by our spectacular Montana sunsets.
