Day 174 What Is That Yellow Ghost?

Wednesday, June 23 – This is one of those lucky captures. I happen to snap the photo just as a yellow balloon burst. That is what that ghost like image is.  Very lucky shot and interesting, I think. You can see the startled look on Becca’s face. It continues to rain tonight. There were even tornado watches for around the Lewistown area and flash flood watches for the Cascade area. Will it ever stop or should we start to build an ark?

Day 173 Brain Freeze

Tuesday, June 22 – Lily loves freezer pops and I keep them as a special treat. Tristan said she had a brain freeze is why she was screaming, but I think it was a case of wanting another freezer pop. As you can see, she got that 2nd treat and that turned off the tears. How can anyone refuse that adorable little face? It is raining here this morning and has been most of the night. We have heavy fog which is really beautiful. I love the smell in the air when it is like this. Reminds me of when I was a child on my horse in the Highwood Mountains.

Day 172 How Did You Grow Up So Fast?

Monday, June 21 – Marilynn was here for a visit a few days ago and agreed to pose for me. She has gotten so tall and now has two front teeth. No more singing “All I want for Christmas is my two front teeth” for her. She has been going to Husky camp with her mom in Belt and this day had been tie dyeing. Marilynn, you sure know how to get into your art work, you were covered with paint. The bottom picture was taken with my G11. It was raining this morning and is forecast to have some severe storms this afternoon, tonight and tomorrow. Looks like our wet weather is going to continue for awhile.

Day 171 How About A BarBQ?

Sunday, July 20 – In celebration of Father’s Day, I thought I would put up a Becca photo that is appropriate for the celebration. The weather is beautiful today and I sure hope that it will be like this on the actual day. This shot was taken of the barbeque grill being cleaned in my kitchen sink. I think it is a great shot and your selective focus is awesome, Becca. And how about some French Fries to go with that barbecue?  Yum!

Day 170 I Love Closeups

Saturday, June 19 – I love doing closeups of flowers. I use my dining room table and the north light from my round window. There is nothing like a reflector and cable release, along with my handy dandy tripod. The flower shops and grocery stores are so handy to use when there are no flowers in bloom. The weather has been beautiful today. I got my little garden in the raised beds planted yesterday, thanks to Billi. Tiffany helped me get the tomato plants in the week before. It is almost feeling like summer.

Day 169 My Brother Doesn’t Have The Only Cowboy Hat!

Friday, june 18 – Bryton was quite the little model in these photos. Tiffany is so lucky to have such cute little, cooperative models living in her house. I am excited to see what you come up with for your next session. These are just so good, Tiffany. Shots that only a mother can get because she is right there!! I would bet I will be getting some goodies with that new 50mm lens when it gets there. Thanks for sharing.

Day 168 I’m Gonna Be A Cowboy Like My Daddy!

Thursday, June 17 – Here comes Gage all outfitted in his big cowboy hat. Tiffany has been sending awesome shots of the boys and I just had to share. She is doing such a gorgeous job on her portraits. That Mothers Day gift of a Canon camera from Bryant was a goodie; the gift that keeps on giving! Such a nice job, Tiffany. Keep shooting away!!

Day 167 My Country Girl

Wednesday, June 16 – Becca spent the day with me taking photos and serving as my model for class. This was a story telling image that I did down at the Steam Museum. She is such a good model. Thanks, Becca, for doing this for me.

Day 166 Bubble Boy

Tuesday, June 15 – I just had to get a shot of Tristan in my bathtub the other night. He was so wild and most of the time had bubbles dripping off his chin. This one turned out pretty good.  We bought new ‘sweet’ smelling kids’ shampoo at Target for the occasion. My tomatoes are looking pretty good. They came from Eric, Billi’s brother-in-law. He is growing all natural vegies this year and we sure are enjoying them. The lettuce and Swiss chard were out of sight for dinner tonight. We pick up our weekly goodies on Thursday nights right at the farm. It is great having them harvest your things right in front of you. They have a booth at the Farmer’s Market too. I am going to buy some more tomato plants this week from him to put in my raised beds. Guess I will have to convince Walter it is time to haul out the rototiller or hoe.

Day 165 Becca Does It Again

Monday, June 14 – More Becca shots today. Don’t you just love them? This little gal has a big future ahead of her behind a camera. All were shot at the Flower Farm with her new Canon camera that she got for her birthday from her parents. We had so much fun wandering from room to room finding our favorites to photograph. Those bottom fuzzy red ones just fascinated Becca. They reminded us of cat’s tails. Keep clicking away, Becca. You are getting some tremendous shots. I hope you are printing up lots of them on your little printer.
