Day 130 Sippy Cup Time

Monday, May 10 – A shot of Lily enjoying  her sippy cup. Is there anything cuter than chubby little fingers?

Day 129 Look Into My Heart

Sunday, May 9 – I took these in front of Billi’s house of the very center of her tulips growing there. Our power came back on yesterday, thank goodness. I have been scrubbing the cooler and refrigerator today. We took out two huge garbage cans of food to the cats at the barn. The refrigerator is pretty empty, but clean. The freezers were fine, even after 5 days. It is snowing out right now and the wind is howling. I wonder if spring is ever going to come.

Day 128 Gulp!

Saturday, May 8 – Another Chase photo. He is having so much fun trying his hand with closeups. This is right out of camera with no retouching.  Those little drops of moisture sure seem to say refreshing, don’t they?

Day 127 Time Drags

Friday, May 7 – Chase shot this one of my clock in the living room. Dad made it for me years ago. That is the only place I have to go now to tell what time it is. I sure am missing having that little convenience called electricity. I am so proud of how well Chase is doing with his photography.

Day 126 I Am So Sick of Snow!!

Thursday, May 6 – Here are some shots of the blizzard of last Thursday which has left us without power still on Saturday night. Those are my living room windows that are completely covered with snow Thursday morning. It still snowed hard and blew like crazy all day and night. As you can see we had lots of drifts to deal with. All taken with my G11.

Day 125 Happy Birthday, Mr. Bird Man

Wednesday, May 5 – Curtis, it was your birthday last Thursday, April 29, but I had no electricity to post a photo for you. We are at a photo workshop this weekend in Helena, so I can finally do an update. There is still no power at home and we don’t know when it will be back on. I sure hope that the freezers hold. That blizzard really did a job on the power poles. I thought this photo was perfect for your special day, Curtis. I know how much you love ducks and geese. Carl shot this one at Gibson.
