Wednesday, July 15 – My granddaughter Brynn has such a variety of expressions and all are fun to photograph. You are the one today, Brynn. I will post a couple more separately.
Tuesday, July 14 – The grandkids have a trampoline in their backyard and are they ever good on it. Here are some shots from the night I took them to the movie. It was getting pretty dark, so the lighting isn’t the best. But you can get the idea of how daring Brooke and Chase are. I need to get over to their house again when it is lighter out and get some really good shots. You kids are so, so good!!!
Monday, July 13 – Brynn, you are front and center today on my website. I decided to do some different things with your photos and change the colors a bit. I hope you like it. There is no one else like Brynn; she can show so much expression. She is such a fun model. I really like how these turned out. We are in the middle of haying now and will start swathing the grain this next week. Everyone around here has saw flies terrible and will be doing the same. It makes so much extra work for all the guys. At least, we have had no hail so far.
Sunday, July 12 – I am a day ahead, but these photos were just begging to be posted, so here goes. Brooke came up with this idea all on her own. She had seen how I use a spray bottle to add water drops to my flower photos. So she decided it would be fun to add tears to a photo creating a feeling of sadness. Brooke, what a great idea and it worked!! Brynn, you will be here for the Monday photo of the day. I haven’t forgotten you!!
Saturday, July 11 – I went to Bobbi’s rummage sale this morning and found some things that I just "couldn’t live without". Tristan was thrilled to death with train videos that had been Chase’s. He watched them all afternoon. Kristie is working on her finals and I watched the two little guys for her and then buzzed them home this evening. What a wonderful day seeing 8 of the 10 grandbabies. Tristan is sporting his new haircut courtesy of his daddy and a little help from a pair of scissors Tristan got his hands on earlier to do a little trimming. Funny how that seems to run in the family. I remember a story about a trim job that I did for my sis and myself when I was little right before our Easter photos. I took this photo of my gorgeous granddaughter, Brooke, the other night. Aren’t those fingernails something? Make sure to click on the photo to enlarge.  More to come in the days ahead.

Friday, July 10 – I love the expressions on Brooke and Brynn’s faces in these two photos. Isn’t sisterly love wonderful?! I think I have the most beautiful grandchildren in the whole wide world. There will be lots more photos to come of our shoot last night. It was so hard to decide which to even start with.  I know Brooke is looking; so enjoy, my sweetie!! You too, Brynn. Chase and Marilynn, you will be up here in the next few days too. All of you are so photogenic and were so great to work with.  We have some great trampoline action shots coming.
Thursday, July 9 – I just couldn’t help but use this photo for today. It makes me just giggle. Brooke looks like she is hoping that to kiss a turtle will bring her prince charming. Oops, I think that is supposed to be a frog, Brooke. I had such a fabulous Grandma day yesterday. I took 4 of the Grandkiddos to the Up movie and it was so good. We then went to dinner at Fuddruckers and then over to Bobbi’s house for a great visit. Brooke requested a photo session and 265 photos later I had some great shots. What a fun evening! I am so glad that I never go anywhere without camera in tow. All 4 volunteered to be models for my Portraits class that starts tomorrow. It couldn’t get any better than that!! What great models I am going to have! I will be sharing my last night session on here for days to come. Be watching for some fun shots.
Wednesday, July 8 – I shot this storm as we were heading back to Great Falls from our cabin on the 4th. That is Belt Butte on the right side of the shot and Raynesford is just over the hill to the left.  My parents live right in front of where that storm was pouring rain. It actually ended up having some marble sized hail in it and pounded my mom’s flowers on her deck. We have the most glorious view coming over the top of the pass. You can actually see all the way to Great Falls on a clear day. I am watching Billi’s cat for the next couple of days. She is suffering from chronic renal failure and needs subq fluids occasionally. I got pretty used to giving those when Tripod was so sick with the same thing. It is hard to believe he has been gone for 17 months. I miss him so much. Marilynn is here for the next three days and we are having so much fun. It is off to have lunch with friends tomorrow and then babysitting for some of the other grandkids tomorrow night. We went to swimming lessons tonight and had a yummy supper at Boston’s Pizza. That has been her favorite place to eat for awhile now. Grandma is definitely keeping busy this week.
Tuesday, July 6 – There is a really ugly looking storm heading this way with lots of severe storm warnings out. I see that there is a warning for hail up to 2 inches in diameter and also a tornado warning for Lewis and Clark county, which is the Helena and Lincoln area. It is really dark that direction. So I will hurry and post my stuff and get off here. They are calling for winds in excess of 80 miles per hour, so I think I will head downstairs. The weather guys have been warning about severe thunderstorms since early this morning. I took this photo down at our barn of a burdock plant that is growing right by my corral. I like the almost 3 dimensional feel of the Lensbaby in this photo.
