Well, we are back and I am alive and finally on the mend. I need to do some photo catchup first and then will do a bit of blogging. . Here is the boarding card that we received to let us come and go off the ship. That little red heard is what lead to my miserable time later on the ship. I will tell more about that upcoming.
I can not get on my email here. It just times out; I guess that is because the satellite is not dependable. So I have no way of reading or sending, just here on my blog. On top of that I can not add pictures from my computer. The browser won’t go to my pictures and this internet cafe computer doesn’t have access to a USB port, so can’t even use my portable hard drive. This is so frustrating. I have been flat on my back, sea sick for the entire voyage down. Now we get to Antigua and the wind is blowing and raining so hard that they can not go into dock. So it is another day at sea. Oh, Yeah!!! Isn’t that great. I am getting smarter, though, there is no eating!! Jenn, could you let Carl and Roberta know that I can not get emails and to just go here to communicate with me through comments? Where are my pretty sunsets and sunrises? Very few photo ops, Curtis. There is only so much to see on a ship. I am so bummed.
WE are packed, or at least almost done, for tomorrow. Early morning will be heading to warmer weather. One of the heifers calved this afternoon and I locked up 4 more in the shed tonight, as snow is in the forecast. Ron seems confident and Carl will be here to give him a hand. Just need to do the dishes and water the plants. My online class started today, so I have my cameras, lens and laptop packed for doing my assignment.
I can’t believe that that there was beautiful sunrise this morning to rival the gorgeous sunset last night. Here is a whole series that I shot this morning with my new 5D. There is supposed to be a change coming tomorrow night with snow in the forecast, so I am going to enjoy this weather while it lasts. I am busy packing for our trip today. Just two more days and we are off to the Caribbean. ISO 100(1st800), F/8, 1/10s to 1/30s..

Was going to use some more of my Pet Photography class practice, but decided Walter needed to grace this day instead. I am getting used to my new 5D before our cruise and took this at Cheryl’s house during the Bowl game. Not much in the way of composition(just ignore those backgrounds), but I think it shows how tack sharp this camera can shoot at even ISO 800. F/5.6, 1/25s and 1/60s. .
Daughter, Tiffany, had her twin boys Saturday night. She has been through so much the last year getting these little guys. Her invitro failed last spring and she almost lost her life. She had frozen embryos put in the first of June and then almost lost these little guys. The doc finally decided it was time for them to greet the world and took them c-section. This photo came off the nursery website for Benefis, so the quality is not the best. It is hard to believe that Walter and I now have 10 grandbabies.
Marilynn turns the big 7 today!! I took this yesterday at her swimming party with my 40D.
